Joie Pecoraro is an MSW student at Illinois State University specializing in School Social Work. She received her undergraduate degree from ISU and earned a B.S. in Psychology, a minor in Philosophy, and completed coursework in Native American Studies. Joie is completing her clinical internship at St. Charles Advanced Therapy and has a particular interest in using a psychodynamic approach with clients. She is responsible for completing intake assessments and conducting qualitative and quantitative research on client outcomes. Joie co-facilitates the Adolescent Support Group and is available for individual therapy.
In her free time, Joie plays the bass guitar and loves to spend time in nature. Joie also has an affinity for poetry and loves to read new books.
